Additional Research
A number of studies on the impact of aging out have been conducted by various authorities on the national, regional and state levels.
Two noteworthy studies include:
- 18 AND OUT: LIFE AFTER FOSTER CARE IN MASSACHUSETTS conducted by The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children
- The Midwest Survey, an ongoing evaluation conducted by The Chapin Hall Center for Children at the University of Chicago.
As the Stewardship Foundation endowment and resources continue to grow, we plan to extend our scholarship programs to orphans and young adults in foster care programs internationally.
