Please note we are no longer accepting applications for the 2008-2009 academic
year. We will accept applications for the 2009-2010 academic year starting on December 1, 2008.

Upon completing both application forms, you can do one of the following:

The following information provides a general set of guidelines for applicants as well as an outline of the criteria the Board of Trustees will be looking for in selecting scholarship recipients.
Application Guidelines
- Student must be enrolled in out-of-home care for one full year prior to the year in which he/she turns 18.
- Student must be either enrolled in, or accepted to an accredited post-secondary academic program.
- Student must submit a Foundation application, teacher recommendation, caregiver/agency recommendation, high school transcript and an SAT or ACT score (if applicable). If the student is already attending a post-secondary program, then the previous year's transcript is to be submitted.
- Student must also apply for financial aid through the college or university.
- Student must participate in an interview by the Board of Trustees.
Selection Criteria
- The financial need of the student
- Academic performance
- Contribution to the school community
- Teacher and/or caregiver recommendations
- The information provided on the student application form, including the short answer and essay
